Fit with Pilates

Experience the perfect combination of strength and mobility with pilates in Zug

Pilates is a holistic training method which combines power with flexibility. The training method stimulates the deep muscles of the entire organism from the center of the body working outwards to create length and strength. It stretches, activates and vitalizes body and mind. While doing the various exercises with pilates your mind needs to be constantly aware of your breathing and the way your body moves.

Because Pilates can be modified to provide either a gentle strength training program or a challenging workout, it is suitable both for beginners and for people who already exercise regularly. If you’re a beginner you can start with basic exercises and then once you’ve mastered those, you can work on the more advanced moves.

We will meet at a studio in Zug that besides offering Pilates mat classes, is fully outfitted with the following equipment:

  • High Chair and Wunda chairs
  • Various Barrels
  • Small Pilates equipment

Pilates Suspension Method (PSM)

The Pilates Suspension Method combines traditional and contemporary mat Pilates and equipment based Pilates exercises and performs them on the suspension trainer. Each PSM exercise is Pilates rooted and is also done in many of the traditional Pilates series. Challenging your core stability in all functional planes of movement your body will become much stronger and be able to perform traditional Pilates exercises much more fluidly. Oh and it’s a ton of fun and you feel great afterwards!

Kara's bootcamp is the best because she is. It's clear she enjoys what she does and is always pushing herself to learn more and do better. She is a challenging instructor, encouraging us to shift a couple centimeters or squat a little lower to get the best workout possible. She also has an excellent  base of knowledge and is great at adapting her workouts to meet different fitness levels and needs; without making anyone feel self conscious or left out. The workouts are varied, interesting and taught with an ample amount of good humor that ensures our laugh muscles stay in shape as well.
